The future picture

The Carbon Plan is a Government-wide plan of action on climate change, including domestic and international activity, which sets out department by department, actions and deadlines for the next 5 years.

Note: Since the publication of the November Business Plan, the Secretary of State for Energy and Climate Change has announced that the first review of the Feed in Tariffs (FITs) scheme for small scale low carbon electricity generation in advance would begin in advance of the dates shown in the Carbon Plan, and would be completed by April 2012.
