The Department of Communities and Local Government has released a guide to Display Energy Certificates (DECs) and advisory reports for large public buildings.The guide covers: the buildings that require a display energy certificate, what is contained in the certificate and associated advisory report, and the responsibilities for displaying the certificate. It also outlines the method for calculating the operational rating of a building.
