The Carbon Reduction Commitment (CRC) comes into force in 2010 and is a carbon-trading scheme for commercial and public sector buildings/ portfolios, which have an annual energy consumption above a threshold figure. Public Sector buildings  above 1000sq.m are already required to have Display Energy Certificates.  crc-timeline-090312 10/05/2009
