We are accredited through BRE Global to undertake Energy Performance Certificates (EPCs), which are a requirement of the Energy Performance of Buildings Directive (EPBD); these cover Commercial and Domestic properties.

During 2008, the need for EPC’s and Display Energy Certificates (DEC’s) will cover most Commercial Offices and extend to the Public Sector. This will mean that schools, hospitals, police stations will require a Display Energy Certificate in public view; these certificates are to be renewed annually, so that the public can see what improvements have been made along the lower carbon path. We at CarbonRight employ CIBSE Low Carbon Consultants and will be accredited to undertake EPC’s and DEC’s for the domestic, commercial and public sectors.
